Budget Committee of the Council

The Budget Committee of the Council deals with matters concerning the EU budget (setting budgetary targets and ceilings for the future, negotiating the draft one-year EU budget for the coming year, ongoing evaluation and budget changes during the financial year, retrospective evaluation of the European budget).

The members of the Budget Committee of the Council are representatives from each EU Member State, representatives of the EC and, where appropriate, members of other EU institutions and bodies. The Slovak Republic is represented at its meetings by employees of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic.
