Financial Statistics on general government revenue, expenditure and debt

The Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic processes for national and international purposes of financial statistics a number of data on revenues, expenditures and debt of the public administration. The public administration of the Slovak Republic consists of approximately 8000 organizations - accounting units of various legal forms. Requirements for the submission of data from public administration entities are defined by the relevant national legislation as well as EU legislation.

For the purposes of international comparison, data are published in the so-called Special standard or in the SDDS Plus standard. Additional data requirements are defined e.g. Council Directive 2011/85/EU on requirements for budgetary frameworks of EU Member States.
